The College’s Office of Workforce Solutions hosts scores of online courses available now. The areas of study include Arts and Design; Business; Computer Applications; Computer Science; Construction and Trades; Health and Fitness; Hospitality; Information Technology; Language; Legal; Math and Science; Teacher Professional Development; Test Preparation; and Writing. Course instruction methods range from the familiar instructor-led classes scheduled for six weeks to self-paced tutorials students complete over three months. The hardware and computer software requirements students will need for each course are listed on the course web page.
You do NOT have to be enrolled at Northeast State to enroll in any continuing education course through Workforce Solutions.
The interactive courses take students across the Internet to learn a variety of skills. All of courses are led by expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. The online courses give students the opportunity to learn a variety of practical skills in the comfort of their home.
The Office of Workforce Solutions supports workforce development through corporate training, career training, and continuing education. Corporate training provides training developed through partnerships with regional business organizations. Career training guides individuals in short term career or job training or online professional development. Continuing education includes courses, seminars, and invited speakers to provide opportunities for professional development.
