The Northeast State Esports awards banquet brought together student gamers and a few of their biggest fans on Wednesday night at Basler Library.
Northeast State Esports Head Coach Joshua Lindamood and Director of Student Life and Engagement Jennifer Webb welcomed team members and their loved ones to celebrate a terrific spring campaign. Northeast State Esports teams compete in National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) team divisions during the fall and spring semesters. This spring, Northeast State Esports fielded teams in the games of Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Players battled on the digital pitch in Basler Arena against teams from two-year and four-year institutions across the country.
Lindamood presented individual awards to Bear gamers who exemplified performance, dedication, and team spirit. Team winners are listed below. Photos from the awards banquet can be viewed at our SmugMug gallery here: https://www.northeaststatephotos.com/Esports-Awards-Ceremony-Spring-2025.
