Northeast State recognized its seventh class of Nursing program graduates at the 2015 Pinning Ceremony held Thursday evening at the Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts on the main campus in Blountville.
A joyous night for Nursing grads and their families.
The graduating class of more than 60 students received their nursing pins. Student Taylor Maines led the invocation while members of the Nursing faculty affixed the pins for students on stage. Northeast Nursing graduates of 2014-15 are listed below.

The pinning ceremony provides a symbolic welcoming of new nurses into the profession. Each graduating student received the Northeast State Nursing pin on his or her white lab coat signifying completion of the associate of applied science degree.
Connie Ballard and Vic Johnson received the program’s Outstanding Student Award. Erica Ehasz received the Student Support Award. Student Representative award winners were McKenzie Boling; Angel Bosse; Fatima Brka; Hunter Dotson; Hannah Hughes; Barbara Norton; and Laura Ullman.
The nursing students graduating this spring will receive their diplomas on May 12 at the College’s commencement ceremony scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the East Tennessee State University/Mountains State Health Alliance Athletic Center on the campus of ETSU in Johnson City.
