Northeast State’s 50th homecoming venue change

You are invited to attend Northeast State’s 50th anniversary Homecoming event on Sept. 29 with a free concert by the Grammy-nominated band Fastball.

VENUE CHANGE

Due to weather forecasts for Sept. 29, the 2:00 p.m. press conference AND 6:00 p.m. Homecoming concert will be held in the Wellmont Regional Center for Performing Arts Theater on the Blountville campus.

WHEN

Thursday, Sept, 29, 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Festivities will start on the Blountville campus at 11:00 a.m. and include family amusement activities and food trucks. At 2:00 p.m., former Northeast State presidents and Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey will gather to commemorate the College’s anniversary. This will also be an opportunity to welcome back Tennessee Promise students for the fall semester.

WHAT

At 6:00 p.m., The Breakfast Club®, a popular 80’s tribute band from Atlanta, will perform followed by Fastball at 8:00 p.m.  The concert is free and open to the public.

WHERE
