“Our consolation is the knowledge we were privileged to know and work with Lee over these years,” said Northeast State President Bethany Flora. “He was always positive, upbeat, and involved. He served Northeast State with a passion and could always be counted on to lend his help and expertise in Foundation and College matters. His service and commitment were, indeed, an inspiration to us all.”

Shillito was owner, operator and founder of Triad Packaging and served as president and CEO until his retirement. He served on boards of the Salvation Army, the Rotary Club, Paramount Bristol, Frontier Health, the Bristol Chamber of Commerce, and the  Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC). He was elected to AICC’s hall of fame in 2010.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Per Lee’s request, there will be a reception following the service at The Bristol Train Station. The family will receive friends Friday, May 31, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
