NE State’s Business programs receive reaffirmation of accreditation

Northeast State Community College’s Business and Administrative Professional Technology programs recently received reaffirmed accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

The accreditation recognizes teaching excellence, successful student learning outcomes, and a continuous improvement model.

These programs received full accreditation:

  • Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S) in Business, Accounting
  • A.A.S in Business, Management
  • A.A.S in Business, Small Business Management
  • A.A.S. in Administrative Professional Technology, Business Office Concentration
  • A.A.S in Administrative Professional Technology, Legal Office Concentration
  • A.A.S in Administrative Professional Technology, Medical Office Concentration

ACBSP first accredited Northeast State’s business program in 2010. The reaffirmation process is required every 10 years to maintain accreditation.

ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation body for business education programs throughout the world. The organization currently accredits business programs at nearly 1,200 campuses in 63 countries.
