Follett Bookstore at Northeast State has announced access plans for the upcoming fall semester. Students are encouraged to use the Bookstore website www.northeaststateshop.com for textbook information. Students can purchase any materials on our website and have them shipped to their homes.
On-ground Store Opening
The Bookstore at the Blountville campus plans to reopen to the public without appointment on AUGUST 5.
The Bookstore will be limiting the number of people allowed in the store to shop at one time to twelve (12).
Students and bookstore patrons are asked to wear a mask while you are on campus and in the store.
Students who want to get textbooks BEFORE August 5 are required to make an appointment via this form: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040a4ea4af29abfa7-bookstore.
Textbook Shelving and Author Search
The Bookstore has changed how textbooks are shelved in the store. Textbooks are now organized by the author’s last name. Students can click on this search link: txbk.info/ns and enter his or her Student ID number. The search will populate a list of textbooks needed by the author’s last name.
Access Program Courses
Several courses have been added to the Access program. Those courses can be viewed below.

1. When students register for one of the above courses, students will see a “Course Materials Charge” on their student account. This will cover the cost of the required course materials to pass that course. Students are asked to check their MyNortheast student account to make sure you do not owe a balance. Not all forms of aid cover the “Course Materials Charge.”
2. Students know how much the cost for their entire course is right at registration.
3. Students are prepared to learn the first day of class with the correct materials.
4. For the courses listed above, students must have access to the material to pass the course.
5. Students who wish to opt out, will have a link in their MyNortheast Account to be able to do so. Once a students opts out, they cannot opt back in. Students will have from the first day of class until September 1 to opt out. Students in a Term 2 course will have from October 19 to November 3 to opt out.
