Spring Select(s) – Spanish and French courses this semester

Why not expand your language skills by taking a foreign language class at Northeast State this spring?

Spanish I (SPAN 1010) introduces students to the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading and writing the Spanish language. The building blocks of language develop gives students the confidence to use Spanish and improve for continued study. This online course section delivered via Zoom virtual classroom is scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. Weekly Zoom meetings are required.

Spanish II (SPAN 1020) course brings students to the next phase of Spanish language learning. This Zoom virtual course is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.  Weekly Zoom meetings at the class time are required.

French II (FREN 1020) continues French I (FREN I 1010) – a prerequisite for this class – instruction for the French language. French II places an emphasis on vocabulary, speech and writing. Students are also introduced to French literature. This course is scheduled for on-ground meetings at the Locke Humanities Building, Room H147, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
