Tres Vidas music theatre virtual show opens March 29

The Northeast State International Education Committee invites you to enjoy Tres Vidas, a chamber music theatre work for singing actress and trio (cello, piano, and percussion) based on the lives of three legendary Latin American women: Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran peasant activist Rufina Amaya, and Argentinean poet Alfonsina Storni.

Participants can sign up for these three Zoom options:

Monday, March 29 @ 7 p.m.: Live interaction with the performers accompanied by virtual performance
Tuesday, March 30 @ 3 p.m.: Virtual performance only
Wednesday, March 31 @ 12 p.m.: Virtual performance only

The text is by Marjorie Agosin. Music includes popualr and folk songs from Mexico, El Salvador, and Argentina as well as vocal and instrumental music by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, and Osvaldo Golijov.
