Our first of four Best Study Tip Contest winners is Shelby Haynes. Shelby’s best study tip and personal statement are below. We will announce the three other winners every Monday through November 1.
Shelby Haynes
My best study tip/resource is using OneNote through Microsoft office! It’s basically a virtual note book you can screen clip anything into, create sections and subpages, and you can also search anything in the OneNote and it’ll recognize text in pictures too!
My name is Shelby Haynes, I’m 25. I’ve lived in Tennessee for almost 3 years now, I’m originally from Indiana. I love to travel and I’m definitely a bookworm. My major is Computer Information Technology with a concentration in cyber security. My goals after graduation are to find a job in my field preferably within the government, travel a lot more, and my dream is to start my own animal rescue. My experience at Northeast State has been great, I’ve learned a lot so far and I’d highly recommend Northeast to anyone wanting to receive higher education.
Thank you to Shelby and all the Northeast State students who submitted entries. Thanks also to our Inclusive Excellent Peer Mentoring team and the judges for putting this contest together. Go Bears!
