WOAW is an annual global aviation awareness week for girls of all ages observed to mark the anniversary of the world’s first female pilot license (March 8, 1910). The week also serves as a call to address the gender imbalance in the air and space industry. It is not country- or group-specific.
The event will feature hands-on activities and flight simulator demonstrations. Also included is an air traffic control tower tour.
