Northeast State Community College welcomes middle and high school educators, counselors, and teachers to participate in its upcoming Explore workshop series June 6-7.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days, those registered will have the opportunity to discover exciting career paths in technology and gain valuable skills through hands-on workshops and various guest speakers.
The camp will showcase Northeast State’s state-of-the-art Technical Education Complex (TEC) building, a facility that houses programs such as Computer Science, Engineering, Electricity, Industrial Technology, Machine Tooling, Aviation, Welding, and Automotive.
Registration includes breakfast and lunch. Those who complete Explore earn 1.2 CEUS (continuing education units).
“The Technologies Division looks forward to opening our doors to professionals in both higher and secondary education,” said Dean of Technologies Division Dr. Donna Farrell. “Collaborations such as Explore Camp give educators the opportunity to come together and learn innovative teaching techniques that will benefit their students and communities.”
