Northeast State offers the Nelnet QuikPay tuition payment plan. QuikPay provides a way to pay your semester tuition via multiple monthly installments. This NO INTEREST CHARGED option divides semester tuition payments into three or two installments. QuikPay gives students the option to avoid the lump-sum due date at the beginning of a semester.
The QuikPay plan opened for online registration on July 1, 2023. Students may choose two payment plant options. The first payment plan option requires a $25 enrollment fee AND a 25 percent tuition down payment of fees. Students pay the balance in three payments in August, September, and October. The deadline to choose this option is July 27.
The second payment plan option requires a 50 percent tuition down payment with two installments paid September and October. The deadline to choose this option is August 20.
After students register for classes, setup a QuikPAY account and payment plan by logging into MyNortheast and then completing the following steps:
Click on the “Student” link
Click on “Student Accounts”
Click on “Account Summary”
Click “Go to QuikPAY Payment Plan” at the bottom of the “Accounts Summary” page
The plan is set up to automatically draft the payment on the 5th of each month until the account is paid. It will draft from the account you use when you set up the plan unless you inform Nelnet that you wish to change payment methods.
Note: If someone else will be paying the tuition on your behalf, you will need to create an authorized payer account for them. The authorized payer must login to their account to enroll in the payment plan.
This option does NOT create a debt. There are no interest or finance charges assessed. No credit check is required.
