What is honors? Are the classes harder or more rewarding? You can find the answers to these questions and more at Northeast State Honors Expo 2023!
Northeast State Honors hosts the 2023 Honors Expo on August 10, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Wayne G. Basler Library on the Blountville campus in the Honors Institute, Room L303. Visit the link to sign up and attend.
The event features light refreshments, and the honors faculty member ready to showcase their courses and approaches. Not only that, but representatives from East Tennessee State University’s (ETSU) Honors College will be there to talk to attendees about transfer opportunities and scholarships! Drop in and learn more. Attendees can talk with ETSU Honors College reps and get the insights on how to take the leap and accept the honors challenge.
Northeast State Honors provides you with the opportunity to do advanced work in smaller class sections. Honors assignments encourage in-depth and complex analysis, thereby allowing you to realize your passion for learning. The honors faculty at Northeast State will meet you where you are intellectually and challenge you to grow in unexpected ways.
As a Northeast State honors student, you will join a learning community consisting of students from a variety of majors who want to get the most they can from each class meeting. They read with care, ask questions, and have their own ideas. They catch mistakes and learn from each other.
We need to know you will be here so that we can have plenty of refreshments.
