Northeast State invites the public to join an online or on-ground information session about Tennessee Reconnect happening in September. Tennessee Reconnect is a last-dollar grant created to provide two years of free tuition to adults seeking to earn an associate degree or technical certificate.
These new Tennessee Reconnect virtual information sessions are FREE to attend and welcome anyone interested in learning more about Tennessee Reconnect and Northeast State. Attendees can ask questions and learn more about the College and financial aid. The September meetings happen at the dates and times listed below.
Tuesday, September 5 @ 10:00 a.m. / Online via Zoom
Wednesday, September 13 @ 3:30 p.m. / Online via Zoom
Thursday, September 21 @ 3:30 p.m. / Online via Zoom
Tuesday, September 26 @ 5:30 p.m., in-person at the Blountville Campus, General Studies Building, Room C2202.
Get an invitation to an online meeting by sending an RSVP to tnreconnect@northeaststate.edu. Applicants attending an online session will receive a Zoom meeting ID via email to join virtual session. participants attending the in-person session will have a campus map and directions sent to their email.
To get started, apply for admission to Northeast State at www.northeaststate.edu/admissions. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at https://studentaid.gov/. Enroll in a degree or certificate program at Northeast State and take at least 6 credits (two classes) per semester.
