NE State to host Adult Learner Back-to-School Night

Northeast State is hosting an exclusive adult learner back-to-school night on March 14 to provide valuable insights into academic programs and support services tailored for adult learners.

This event offers a comprehensive look at the resources available to adult learners, including admissions procedures, financial aid opportunities, and specialized support services such as TN Reconnect and Veterans Affairs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with college faculty and staff, gaining valuable insights into the academic journey at Northeast State.
The event schedule is as follows:

5:30-6 p.m.: Check-in, Technical Education Complex, 2425 Highway 75

6:00-6:05 p.m.: Welcome Address by Dr. Jeff McCord, President, Northeast State

6:05-6:20 p.m.: Admissions overview presented by Michelle Stanley, Assistant Director, Admissions & Records

6:20-6:35 p.m.: Financial Aid insights shared by Justin Smith, Financial Aid Associate

6:35-6:45 p.m.: TN Reconnect information session led by Jim Henrichs, Adult Recruiter

6:45-7:00 p.m.: Veterans Affairs discussion with Mandie Roberts, Director, Veterans & Military Student Success Center

7:00-7:15 p.m.: Academic Programs overview presented by Dr. Nathan Weber, Assistant Vice President, Academic Affairs Programs and Services

Optional 30-minute campus tours will be available starting at 7:15 p.m..
