In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Northeast State invites donations for victims to be made at the college’s campuses during business hours beginning October 1.
Relief supplies requested are:
- Bottled water
- Canned food
- Toiletry items (deodorant, bandages, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, etc.)
- Cleaning supplies
- Manual can openers
- Flashlights
- Batteries
- Trash bags
- Gloves (medical and work brand)
- Unopened and unexpired Tylenol, Ibuprofen, OTC items.
- Rubbing alcohol
- Wet wipes
- Candles
Donations will be collected at the campus locations listed below. Donations may be made Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Northeast State at Blountville, 2425 Highway 75 (General Studies Building atrium)
Northeast State at Elizabethton, 386 Highway 91 (the Bear Den off the main entrance lobby)
Kingsport Center for Higher Education, 300 W. Market Street (main entrance lobby)
Northeast State at Gray, 120 Dillon Court (main entrance)
