Northeast State holds fall commencement on Dec. 17

Fall commencement ceremonies take place December 17 at the BHCPA Theater on the Blountville campus.

Northeast State Community College celebrates a new class of graduates at the fall commencement ceremony on Tuesday, December 17 at the Ballad Health Center for Performing Arts Theatre on the Blountville campus.

Northeast State will recognize graduates from the College’s six academic divisions in four ceremonies held throughout the day. Graduates are recognized from their respective divisions during the following times:

 Division of Behavioral & Social Sciences – 9:00 a.m.

Divisions of Health Professions and Science – 11:00 a.m.

Divisions of Humanities and Mathematics – 1:00 p.m.

Division of Technologies – 3:00 p.m.

The fall graduating class totals 500 students receiving 604 associate degrees and technical certificates. Northeast State will award 2 academic certificates; 177 technical certificates; 176 associate of applied science degrees; 17 associate of arts degrees; and 232 associate of science degrees.

Graduates participating in the ceremony are required to wear their graduation cap, gown, and other graduation regalia. For additional information visit the graduation web page: https://www.northeaststate.edu/students/commencement.html.
