Follett Bookstore announces the financial aid charge period for students begins on August 18 and ends on September 4. Students are asked to allow 24-48 hours for order processing.
To pay for the Follett DEI Bookstore Charge, students can pay either the Business Office or log in to their MyNortheast student account and pay via credit card online. Students have the option to opt out of these charges if they choose.
Please note that not all forms of financial aid cover the cost of the Follett DEI Bookstore Charge. Tennessee Promise and Tennessee Reconnect DO NOT cover the Follett Bookstore charge.
The opt-out period for the Fall semester begins on August 25 and ends on September 8. Students are encouraged to attend their first class before opting out, as opting out may result in not being able to complete the required work necessary to pass the class. If you opt out and need to purchase, you can do so, but at a greater cost to you. Once the opt-out period ends, students are responsible for paying the bookstore charge to the Business Office.
