Sponsored by The Bristol Hotel, Workforce Solutions at Northeast State Community College presents the Small Business Series, a collection of five free workshops designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners bolster their marketing and adopt technology that produces results.
Each workshop will be offered twice on the same day to provide greater flexibility. Morning sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Bristol Hotel, the Shelby Room, 115 Country Music Way in downtown Bristol, while afternoon sessions will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education, 300 W. Market St. in downtown Kingsport.
The workshop schedule includes:
- Content Marketing for Small Business — Aug. 24
- Writing Across Channels with AI — Sept. 14
- Serving Your Customers & Generating Content — Sept. 28
- QuickBooks How-To — Oct. 12
- Prepare for Tax Season — Dec. 7
The series begins with Content Marketing for Small Business, an interactive workshop presented by Letterpress Communications. Participants will learn how to build a recognizable brand, identify and reach their ideal audience, and develop a practical content strategy that supports long-term business growth.
The workshop explains the details of owned, earned, and paid media. Participants learn how to create reliable content, organize a publishing plan, and measure success with marketing metrics.
Whether launching a new business, expanding an existing operation, or looking for practical ways to use AI, the Small Business Series offers real-world strategies that participants can apply to their organizations.
Registration is free but early sign up is encouraged. Register for any of the workshops at the https://www.campusce.net/northeaststate/course/course.aspx?catId=61. Contact Workforce Solutions at 423-354-5237 or WorkforceSolutions@NortheastState.edu to learn more.
