The future belongs to the prepared. Northeast State invites students, alumni, and job seekers to attend the Virtual Spring Career Fair happening on April 21st from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hosted by the College’s Career and Workforce Development Center, this career fair welcomes all Northeast State students and alumni to participate. The entire fair will be virtual and accessible from anywhere. Participants in the career fair will have an opportunity to meet with employers and organizations from an array of industries – all in a convenient online setting.
The career fair is open to current students and alumni of Northeast State as well as community members seeking full-time or part-time positions. Interested individuals can register to attend now by following this link: https://thenortheaststate.com/SpringCareerFair21
Registered attendees will receive a digital directory to employers’ meeting room links. Each employer representative has provided a link to a virtual meeting room using the teleconferencing platform of their choice including Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
This free event provides students and alumni with opportunities to learn about job openings and visit with regional employers. Business and industry sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, business, staffing, retail, social services, and more will be in attendance.
The Career & Workforce Development Center staff advises job seekers to register for the fair, prepare a résumé that can be emailed, practice using teleconferencing software, dress appropriately for video chats, and visit a variety of employers’ virtual meeting rooms.
