The Northeast State Live Music Nights concert series continues when the College’s Entertainment Technology program welcomes the band Alpine Motel to perform at the Blountville campus on October 16.
The Entertainment Technology programs features this live music series with sensational performances by local and international acts. All performances begin at 7:00 p.m., in the Entertainment Technology Sound and Lighting Lab (Room O58) in the Technical Education Complex building on the Blountville campus. The show is open to the public and anyone interested in live music.
Alpine Motel are a band of brothers from Abingdon, Va., ready to bring their ethereal indie rock sound to Northeast State. Influenced by music both new and old, their sound consists of nostalgic soundscapes, vintage vibes, and wistful soundtracks for late night drives. They released their self-titled debut EP in 2022. They most recently performed at the 2023 Rhythm and Roots Festival in Bristol and the High Knob Outdoor Fest among other events in the region.
Alpine Motel Radio can be heard on Spotify. The band’s self-titled EP “Alpine Motel” and other singles such as “Follow Me” and “Lily of the Valley” can be heard on Spotify and other music streaming services.
