Regional SkillsUSA conference returns to Blountville Feb. 9

Northeast State SkillsUSA gold medal winners from 2023.

WHAT:            Northeast State hosts the SkillsUSA Regional Conference featuring career and technical education                                (CTE) students competing in skilled trades and technical sciences. The conference welcomes                                          hundreds of CTE students from several area high schools across Northeast Tennessee.

WHEN:           9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 9

WHERE:         Northeast State at Blountville * 2425 Highway 75, Blountville, Tennessee

ABOUT:           SkillsUSA is a Career and Technical Student Organization for skilled trade and technical sciences                                  students. SkillsUSA Tennessee hosts an annual State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC) for                                all members across the state. Regional conferences serve as qualifiers for certain competitions to                                  advance students to the SLSC. Students will be competing in approximately 20 CTE categories.                                      Many Northeast State faculty from the Technologies, High School Programs, and Humanities                                        divisions will be chairing and judging the competitions.
