The FAFSA is open!

Now hear this: The 2024-25 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is open!

Northeast State’s Financial Aid Office wants students to apply and get their financial aid.  A completed FAFSA application is required to receive federal, state, and college financial aid. The Financial Aid Office is now accepting appointments to help students complete the 2024-25 FAFSA.

  • To complete your 2024-25 FASFA, go to studentaid.gov.
  • If you would like help completing the FAFSA, stop by our office in Blountville or email FaHelpCenter@NortheastState.edu to request an in-person or Zoom appointment.

This year only, colleges and universities will receive your 2024-25 FAFSA information in mid-late March. By May 1, we hope to have all FAFSA applications in our system and will communicate with students who are required to submit additional information. By mid-May, we will start sending out financial aid offers. It’s important that you check your Northeast State student email account regularly.
