Enroll in Honors courses this fall

Enroll in Honors courses at Northeast State.

Why not take a creative approach to learning while building a network of like-minded friends and colleagues? Enroll in one or more Northeast State Honors courses this upcoming fall semester!

The Northeast State Honors program develops advanced courses to give students an opportunity to work in smaller class sections. Honors courses are open to new and currently enrolled students who meet these eligibility requirements:

  • An ACT score of 25 or higher
  • A SAT of 1140 or higher
  • An overall GPA (high school or college) of 3.25 or higher

The Fall 2024 semester features a variety Honors courses available on-ground in classrooms and online. These courses range from biology and microbiology to literature and psychology. Northeast State faculty members teach Honors course curriculum that challenges students to think creatively. Honors courses are NOT harder than other courses. These courses challenge students to go beyond traditional methods of learning to grow their knowledge in a subject.

Honors students join a community of peers from a variety of academic majors. The Honors Program unites dedicated faculty and highly-motivated students who share a commitment to the finest qualities of scholarship.
