Northeast State announces Technologies Job Fair November 20

Technologies Job Fair is scheduled November 20 at the TEC building in Blountville.

The Career & Workforce Development Center at Northeast State is hosting a Technologies Job Fair on Wednesday, November 20, from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in the Technical Education Complex at the Blountville campus, 2425 Highway 75. This is a free event. The public is invited to attend.

Whether you’re searching for that first job, a career boost, or new job market contacts, the Technologies Career Fair offers excellent opportunities to network with professionals from a variety of industries.

The purpose of this job fair is to showcase local job opportunities related to Northeast State Technologies programs. These programs include careers in Administrative Professional Technology, Business, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Technologies, and more.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for students and job seekers to learn about available job openings. Career Services expects up to 30 local employers to participate. They will be looking for candidates to fill positions in customer service, accounting, drafting, maintenance, HVAC, machining, electricity, engineering, and other specialties.

Job seekers are advised to bring along resume copies, dress appropriately, and be prepared to discuss their skills with employers. In addition, there will be information about Northeast State programs.
