Get a head start on college. Sign up now for Ignite 21, a week-long Summer Bridge Program happening this summer at Northeast State. The program is designed for recent high school graduates entering Northeast State this fall.
There is no registration fee or admission cost to students accepted into the program. Registration forms must be received no later than one week prior to the first day of each session.
Ignite 21 begins June 24 at Northeast State.
IGNITE 21, supported by a Tennessee Board of Regents Student Engagement, Retention and Success Grant, is designed to promote first-year college success for underrepresented minority students. Program faculty will share academic expectations and tips on how students can successfully transition from high school to college with topics ranging from study skills to accessing campus resources.

Two sessions are scheduled to accommodate summer schedules. The first is set for June 24 – June 29, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Northeast State at Johnson City campus, 101 E. Market Street. The second session happens July 8 – July 12 at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., 300 W. Market Street.
