Northeast State spring commencement set May 7

Spring 2024 commencement happens May 7 at the Blountville campus.

It is almost time to turn those tassels and throw the mortarboards! Northeast State Community College celebrates a new class of graduates at the spring commencement ceremony scheduled Tuesday, May 7 at the outdoor amphitheater on the College’s Blountville campus.

Northeast State will recognize graduates from the College’s six academic divisions in four ceremonies held throughout the day. Graduates are recognized from their respective divisions during the following times:

 Divisions of Behavioral & Social Sciences and Science 9:00 a.m.

Divisions of Health Professions 11:00 a.m.

Divisions of Humanities and Mathematics 1:00 p.m.

Division of Technologies 3:00 p.m.

The spring graduating class totals 853 students who will receive 1,060 degrees and certificates. Northeast State will award 12 academic certificates; 318 technical certificates; 276 associate of applied science degrees; 20 associate of arts degrees; 15 associate of science in teaching degrees, and 419 associate of science degrees.
